Ant's New Bedroom

So I was sat at work on Wednesday and was in a creative mood so decided I would decorate Antony's bedroom. I have to say I am very pleased with the result!He is a massive Spiderman fan so of course, it had to be the Spiderman theme!I had already bought him the duvet cover for his birthday and his aunty Christina had bought him the curtains a few months ago so all we really needed was the paint and border to go round the top. Basically, for £30, I transformed his room from dull and plain to blue and funky!!!

Ant is currently addicted to Home Alone, the film, and he has been watching it over and over again so this is his impression of "Kevin" when he puts on his dads aftershave and it stings his face!!!After the 100th time watching it, you start to get a little peeved but I know this phase will only last a week or two!Phew!!

I spent from 6pm Wednesday night through till 11.45pm the same night painting his room. I did it all by myself and I think I made a really good job of it. I woke up on my day off the next day and carried on till 12 o clock lunchtime then went to the gym for my induction which by the way, I am aching like a granny!!

His room is only small so had to throw loads of stuff away (and he doesn't know) but he has got loads of toys. He even has toys unopened from Christmas!

I have just realised that I am no pro at this blogging thing!I'm sure the more I do it the better I will get!Anyway...you get the idea don't you?

SO WADDYA THINK ABOUT HIS NEW ROOM???

My first blogging day.... :)

Ok...so I am very new to this blog thing but nevertheless, excited and eager! I suppose I can only try and find my way round this new hobby of mine. It doesn't usually take me long to find my way and I usually pick things up quite quickly. So far, I have successfully uploaded a picture of my ugly mug and wrote a little bit about my wonderful, endearing family so big brownie points for meeee!! As I speak, my other half is snoozing on the sofa right next to me unaware of the horrible things I'm going to write about him! (Only joking Jay although very tempting I must say!)This is about as exciting as Lauren's life gets unfortunately and in about half an hour I'm off to college to battle with numbers and figures. Remind me again why I decided to take up a course relating to Mathematics when its my worst subject of all time?And here's me the silly mare hoping for a career in Accountancy.....I shall leave that story for another day!
Alas, the other half is awake n moaning about the noise from my keyboard although he thinks me writing about everyday occurences will help me with my mental issues.... :) Again, I will leave that story for another time because you could write a novel with the stuff I've been through!
I'm starting to enjoy this blog thing although be aware this is where I come to have a moan so I'll apologise in advance.....
